WAYNEFLEET FISHERY Location This picturesque 2.5 acre tree lined estate lake and reed fringed section of the River Mole, can be found at Esher Surrey, close to Sandown race track. Both are situated behind locked gates, so making it a quiet and secure fishery. Fishing The lake contains a good head of Common and Mirror Carp, some quite large. There are also Crucian Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Chub. The lake depth runs between 2 and 4 feet. The pace of the river is slow to medium and the slack water spur has no flow. The river contains Chub, Dace, Roach, Perch, Bream and Pike. There is also the chance of Carp and Tench RIVER WEY - WEYBRIDGE FISHERY Location There is approximately 500 yards of this tree lined section of the River Wey, situated at Weybridge, Surrey. Fishing This short stretch of the River Wey contains a good head of Roach (1.5lb), Chub (4lb), Bream (4lb), Perch (2lb) plus Dace, Eels, Pike, Gudgeon and the odd Carp and Trout. There are also reports of the occasional Barbel. RIVER COLNE FISHERY Location There is about half a mile of this attractive river, full of features and interest. It is situated at the Western end of Heathrow Airport. Fishing This is a very prolific water with plenty of Roach, Dace, Perch and Chub. There also reports of Barbel, Carp Trout and some very large Pike. The pace of the water is medium to fast. COTTESMORE The Society has obtained the fishing rights on a new pond.
It is slightly smaller than our Wayneflete Lake and holds Common and
Crucian Carp, Tench, Roach and Sunfish (a North American fish similar to our Perch). |
